Have you been following the reports on “Swine Flu”?

Have you been following the reports on “Swine Flu Outbreak” which started in Mexico?  Some people have actually died! People are walking around with mask on, lined up to get shots; and schools have been closed down.   Now in the United States eight people already [have or had] the “Swine Flu”.  It’s most harmful to the weak (like babies and old people).   Wow!  Well it’s time for me to start avoiding crowded places.  Hmm,…but how do you do that when you’re trying to earn a living? Oh well, might be time to purchase a few masks, and stop shaking hands with everyone for while…and purchasing some surgurical gloves might not be bad too especially when you have to touch public door knobs.  Soon everyone will be walking around looking like something from a Sc-Fi movie.

Well, at least I don’t have to worry about catching “Swine Flu” typing away at my computer.

    I’m Only Human

Okay, I admit it’s been a while since I made a new post.  I guess I’m really not all this good at this blogging stuff.  One reason I suppose, I hold back to much.  Maybe I should loosen up, and cut free! :)  On the other hand, when I truly honest with my feelings and thoughts. People can’t handle it, and get all bent up and offended.   So I try to keep it clean and neat being nice, trying to treat others as I want to be treated. Then sometimes,  people just want to start something, and you can alway tell when they do because they just down want to let the subject die, they keep nawing at it like a dog with a bone.  Some people try to be real cool by dropping nasty little hints, or throwing draggers.  You try to ignore them to a point, but they don’t let it go until you have to open up a “can of worms.”  Deep down I just don’t like hurting people feelings, because sometimes it makes me feel so bad inside afterwards.  Guess I just don’t have that “killer instinct”  so to speak, because I’m really just a nice person …untill you come at me all twisted!  I’m only human. :)

    Weird Dream!

I have a really weird and crazy dream last night; and every time I thought about it doing the day, it would make me laugh out loud to myself.

Some people think dreams are trying to tell us something.  Well, I don’t put a whole lot of stock in weird dreams most of times, but if I dream of snakes, then I take stock!  You see, I was told if you dream about snakes you got enemies.

Well in this dream, there was no snakes, but it was really weird, and kinda silly.  I think I will share it with you.

In my dream my surroundings was different,  it seemed more like my Mom’s home, and we live in different states, but in my dream I guess I was there.  I believe I was writing or reading and had dosed off to sleep.  There was a knock at the door, and IT WAS PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, and I didn’t know what to say.   No Secret Service, and he stopped by like he was a neighbor living in the neighborhood.  He said he wanted thank me.  I couldn’t imagine for what, and as he was talking I fell asleep again.   (I must had a sleeping problem, because how could that be I thought).  Any way when I finally awaken and it seem like only minutes —he was gone.  I got up ran to the door, turn around and seen that the whole wall where he sat in the living room was gone as well.  My Mom said, oh he needed it for a charity project.  It didn’t make sense, but she didn’t have a problem with it.  I guess it was for a good cause.  :)

    One Nation under God!

Thanks to the Internet I did managed to see and hear Mr. Obama’s Baltimore speech for Thursday, January 17, 2009 so all was not lost when I missed getting there.

Now Tuesday, January 20, 2009 on Inauguration Day, I watched it on TV upstairs in my bedroom, and it was overwhelming to say the least!  There seem to be so much peace and love among everyone on the mall of all different races.  Tuesday felt like one nation under God!  Mr. Obama’s inauguration was a milestone in history, and the second time in my life I can honestly say I felt proud to be an American.  The first time was when Mr. Obama gave his acceptance speech; but when Mr. and Mrs Obama reached that Capitol, and got out of the car the tears began to roll.  It was one of the happiest days of my life up there with having a child!

In some sense it was kind a birth, the birth of a leader born out of what America and the world has become over time; has produced a man right for the job to lead the country through these trying times.   No matter how bad this economy has deteriorated with two wars;  no matter how sadly polarized we were in the past; as a country we have  produced the right man for change and leadership.

He seem to bring a sense renewed hope, a revitalization in the American spirit for people to become involved and united as a country.  I have only seen that type of spirit during our most peril times.  Maybe that’s what being an American is all about; in times of trouble Americans band together.   Mr. Obama said “we are all equal...” (this I felt was a message to minorities as well a reminder to the majority);” another part of his speech for all Americans as a people “we have to pick ourselves up, and dust ourselves off…”  It would be so nice if we remain as united in the future as we were on Tuesday.  Mr Obama was made for this job, and he has picked a strong team of cabinet members to work with him on the issues at hand.  So with God’s help! He and his team, and a commitment to nonpartisanship on the Hill would benefit us all to secure a stronger economy for our children with better foreign policies more far and just to all involved.  May God Bless our new President, his family, his team, and the country once again.  May God keep us all safe.
